Zoom

Zoom is an easy-to-use tool available to the entire UF community. Zoom allows users to meet, hold office hours, host webinars, and so much more! In our live webinar training, participants will learn how to use Zoom for video conferencing, recording and all the settings and tips to improve your Zoom experience.

This live training on Zoom covers a comprehensive list of topics. Start off with general presenting tips and how to change your video and audio settings for a clean presentation. Then move on to utilizing the desktop and UF’s Zoom web portal to modify settings,  schedule meetings, and access recordings and reports to review past sessions and gather valuable data.
It also includes mastering screen sharing for effective presentations, learning best practices for setting up meetings to ensure they run smoothly, controlling participants' actions to maintain order, and using annotation and captions to promote accessibility and engagement. Additionally, participants will learn how to: conducting polls for gathering data, utilize whiteboards for collaboration, and manage breakout rooms for smaller group discussions. All these topics and more are geared towards teaching the user how to create a robust and efficient Zoom experience, both as a host and participant.

Participants are encouraged to enter the training with any questions that they might have.
