UF's Event Calendar

Faculty and staff can obtain a department calendar to manage their own events, or they can submit an event to UF's main event calendar. Submissions go to SCM for approval.

The UF calendar can be found at https://calendar.ufl.edu and on the UF homepage. This is a great promotional option available to departments and organizations for advertising events to a broad audience. UF’s calendar provides a centralized system where events can be submitted for maximum exposure.

UF's calendar is powered by the vendor LiveWhale. LiveWhale offers different levels of support, some free and some paid.

Free online support

Paid support

  • online help form
  • Unless an issue is caused by a universal bug in LiveWhale, users will have to pay for support. Some requests, such as time-sensitive ones, will require pre-authorization for two hours of billable time.

Note: The Office of Strategic Communications and Marketing (SCM) pays for the LiveWhale license; however, the office will not pay for custom support hours for units. Units can be invoiced by LiveWhale for support, or they can pay LiveWhale via credit card.
