UFIT Professional Technologies: Effective Collaboration (Certificate Program)

This curriculum is designed to equip participants with the skills to effectively utilize digital tools for scheduling, meeting management, and event organization. Through hands-on activities, participants will learn to navigate Microsoft Bookings for appointment scheduling, Zoom for seamless meetings and presentations, and UF's event calendar system (LiveWhale) for managing events and calendars. By the end of this curriculum, participants will be proficient in setting up schedules, conducting online meetings, sharing screens and files, and submitting events to UF's main calendar, ensuring they can efficiently organize and manage their time and events.

This certificate program consists of three instructor-led courses. Click on each course below to register and start the training.

  • Effortless Appointments with Microsoft Bookings (Instructor-led)
    • Learn how to schedule appointments, office hours, and meetings with colleagues.
    • Time commitment: 1 hour
  •  Zoom Presentation Tips (Instructor-led)
    • Explore key features offered in Zoom. Topics include advanced screen sharing, PowerPoint, files, annotations, and whiteboard. This training will also address recordings, breakout rooms, and polls.
    • Time commitment: 1.5 hours
  • UF’s Event Calendar Training (Instructor-led)
    • Learn how to use the UF's main calendar system, LiveWhale including its different user roles, and how to submit and manage events in the system.
    • Time commitment: 1 hour

All three courses are required to obtain the certificate; however, each course can be taken in any order. You will have to register for each course individually. Once all three courses are completed, the UFIT Professional Technologies: Effective Collaboration Certificate will be issued to your myTraining account in the "Training Transcript" section.

There are no additional steps needed to register for this certificate.
