Machine Learning & AI in LinkedIn Learning

This learning path explains the concepts related to data mining, predictive analytics, and classification. In addition, it teaches the most common machine learning models used in artificial intelligence.

LinkedIn Learning has the learning path named Develop Your SPSS Skills which contains statistics and machine learning courses. We split this learning path into SPSS Basic Statistical Analyses and Machine Learning & AI with SPSS learning paths. The Machine Learning & AI with SPSS learning path is conformed by the following courses:

  1. Two courses about fundamental theoretical concepts:
    • Predictive Analytics Essential Training: Data Mining
    • Machine Learning and AI Foundations: Classification Modeling
  2. Four courses and two lessons regarding machine learning models, clustering, and association:
    • Machine Learning and AI Foundations: Linear Regression
    • Machine Learning and AI Foundations: Decision Trees with SPSS
    • Machine Learning and AI Foundations: Advanced Decision Trees with SPSS
    • Neural Networks in SPSS: Multilayer Perceptron Classification
    • Neural Networks in SPSS: Radial Basis Function Classification
    • Machine Learning and AI Foundations: Clustering and Association

This learning path applies both SPSS Statistics and SPSS Modeler. Linear Regression and Neural Networks use SPSS Statistics. Decision trees utilizes SPSS Modeler. Clustering and classification make use of both SPSS Statistics and SPSS Modeler. Faculty and students have access to SPSS Statistics versions 26 and 27 through the UF Apps. SPSS Modeler 30-day trial version can be downloaded in the IBM website.

This learning path requires basic knowledge of statistics such as descriptive statistics, exploratory data analysis, normal and skewed variables, and statistical inference. The learning path SPSS Basic Statistical Analyses covers these basic procedures in SPSS Statistics. Furthermore, the courses, Predictive Analytics Essential Training: Data Mining and Machine Learning & AI Foundation: Classification Modeling encompasses fundamental concepts in data mining and predictive analytics. These three courses will prepare you well for machine learning and clustering/association analyses.
