This session will focus on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data in Galaxy. We will look at both reference-based mapping of reads (using Bowtie and Bowtie2) and de novo assembly of reads (using Velvet). We will also briefly highlight some of the other mapping and assembly applications available in Research Computing’s Galaxy instance.
Users should bring their laptop for this session.
